My TEDx Oldham Speech

Hi,

This is the unedited version of my TEDx talk I did in July 2019, Oldham.

The ‘official’ version was never uploaded (totally out of my control) but I wanted to share this for a number of reasons including:

• to help others realise that social media doesn’t have the automatic right to take over your life;

• which leads on to my mantra ‘you control social media, not the other way round’ which was born during my drafts for the talk;

• social media is a positive and empowering space particularly when used with purpose and intention
