Instagram is no longer (just) a photo sharing app
Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, recently announced that Instagram is no longer (just) a photo sharing app.
Truth is, it hasn’t been a photo sharing app for a few years now. It’s been leaning towards video through features such as IGTV, LIVE, Stories and recently, Reels.
The announcement though DOES mean it will start experimenting with new video formats and prioritising accounts that use video A LOT.
